Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement and End User License Agreement (EULA) between you and Stellandra for the use of Calorie Puzzle ("the App").

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Calorie Puzzle, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Calorie Puzzle is a nutrition-tracking application that uses artificial intelligence to identify foods from photos and estimate nutritional content. The App provides calorie counting, macro tracking, meal logging, weight tracking, and health reporting features.

AI Accuracy Disclaimer

The AI-powered food recognition and nutrition estimation features provide approximate values only. Calorie Puzzle is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice. Nutritional values may differ from actual content. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary or health decisions.

Subscriptions

Calorie Puzzle Pro is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and yearly) at the prices shown in the app and on the App Store. Prices may change and vary by region.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of your selected plan.
You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
Where offered, the yearly plan includes a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.

Free Tier

Free users receive 5 AI photo scans per day. To get unlimited AI scans and Pro features, you can upgrade to a Pro subscription. The App does not contain advertisements.

User Content

You retain ownership of all photos and data you provide to Calorie Puzzle. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your photos through our AI service for the sole purpose of food recognition. Photos are analyzed in real time and are not stored by us. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to circumvent free-tier limits, abuse our AI services, reverse-engineer the App, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Profile › Delete Account in the App.

Limitation of Liability

Calorie Puzzle is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including any health or dietary decisions made based on AI-generated nutrition data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
